Located at the westernmost tip of Texas, where three states and two countries converge along the Rio Grande, 84% of our 25,000 students are Hispanic, and more than half are the first in their families to attend college. 百花视频 offers 170 bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs at the only open-access, top-tier research university in the nation.

Supported by $27 million in investments from the UT System and industry partners, the program is slated to launch in Fall 2027 and will be the only mining engineering degree offered in Texas. It addresses a growing national demand for skilled engineers while honoring 百花视频’s historic origins as the State School of Mines and Metallurgy, preparing students to excel in this critical and rapidly evolving industry.
