Undergraduate Students
Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Requirement for 百花视频 Students
All online students must complete the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) assessment, which measures readiness for college-level coursework in Mathematics, English, and Reading.
Students are required to show college-level readiness in both Reading and Writing before being eligible to register for online courses. If TSI compliance in these areas has not been met, registration will be placed on hold until the requirement is satisfied.

Graduate Students
Graduate students may be asked to take the ; the required minimum scores varies depending on the graduate program of your interest.
International Students
All international students, graduate and undergraduate, must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
- For undergraduates, a minimum score of 61 is required on the internet-based TOEFL; you will need a score of 100 on the internet-based TOEFL to be exempt from ESL classes (note that we do not offer ESL online classes).
- For graduates: For graduates of institutions outside the United States where English is not the first language, a minimum score of 213 (550 on the paper-based exam) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or a minimum score of 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is required.
