Blackboard Overview Video

Blackboard is an online space where professors can post course assignments, tests, and grades. You can access your registered courses in Blackboard on the day classes begin. If you register after classes begin, you will see your courses listed the following day. If they are not listed by that time, visit ts.utep.edu to contact Technology Support for assistance. To access your account, log into the portal and click the Blackboard link.
• View and download your syllabus and assignments.
• Send messages to classmates or your instructor.
• Participate in online discussion groups with classmates.
• Get course alerts and notifications with the blackboard app.
• Submit your assignments and tests online.

Respondus Lockdown Browser
Some professors require tests be taken online with Blackboard and Respondus Lockdown Browser, a tool that locks Internet browsing for the duration of the test. To download Respondus, log into Blackboard, select "Tools" on the left and click on Respondus Lockdown Browser.
